Athletic Club Boise and Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County
Create New Community Partnership
BOISE, ID — Athletic Club Boise is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County as the professional soccer team's first announced Community Partner. Together, the organizations will offer inclusive and skill-driven youth soccer clinics presented by Saint Alphonsus for Club Kids in Ada County, launching in October 2025.
The partnership was unveiled during an engaging kickoff at the Spud Challenge Annual Golf Tournament held on August 18 at The River Club in Boise. The tournament announcement featured remarks from Colleen Braga, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Brad Stith, CEO and Co-founder of Athletic Club Boise and Board Member, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County.
“Our partnership with the Athletic Club Boise reflects our shared commitment to empowering youth through teamwork, discipline, and fun,” said Colleen Braga, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County. “We’re excited to offer this innovative program that helps kids not only grow as soccer players and fans but also as individuals.”
This partnership is designed to create a safe and supportive environment for young players of all skill levels through soccer and also to provide access to Athletic Club Boise games. Athletic Club Boise is donating over 600 tickets for the 2026 men’s season for Club Kids and their families.
Soccer programming — accessible to all Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County Club Kids, regardless of financial circumstances — will feature experienced coaches from Athletic Club Boise who will host soccer clinics. The program will focus on individual player development rather than competitive outcomes, ensuring that each participant can improve at their own pace. By engaging school-aged youth at the Moseley Center, and Meridian and Kuna locations, the program will also identify and support talented players.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Ada County,” added Brad Stith, Athletic Club Boise CEO and Co-founder. “This collaboration aims to make soccer accessible to aspiring players throughout Ada County, ensuring that Club Kids of all ages have the opportunity to play the beautiful game and attend professional soccer games.”
Additionally, this partnership will explore opportunities to extend soccer programming into local school districts, integrating clinics into physical education classes and deepening the reach of this initiative within the community.

About Athletic Club Boise
Athletic Club Boise is Idaho’s first professional soccer club, competing in USL League One. Founded with deep roots in the community, the club is building a privately funded stadium at Les Bois Park through a 30-year partnership with Ada County. AC Boise will debut its men’s team in 2026, followed by a women’s USL Super League team in 2027. All men’s matches will be broadcast nationally on the ESPN and CBS Sports family of networks — a first for Boise pro sports. The club’s mission is to celebrate Idaho’s identity through sport, grow access to the game, and become a lasting source of pride for the Treasure Valley.
About Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County
Every kid deserves a place. A place to feel safe. A place to feel connected. A place to belong. Serving over 5,000 Club kids annually, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County provides such places where kids can go after school and during the summer to grow beyond the classroom. Since the first doors opened over 150 years ago, 5,000 Clubs have been established across the country, from dense cities and sprawling suburbs to Native lands and U.S. military installations worldwide. Clubs now serve 4 million kids and teens annually by building deeply powerful relationships and opening avenues of opportunities. No matter why they enter a Club, young people leave with the knowledge that the Club Experience provides a fun, safe space and a fostering environment where they can be who they are — and become who they were meant to be.
Our Clubs provide a wealth of programs and activities to prepare young people for real-world success. We believe that by focusing on health and fitness, academic success, and good character and leadership, the children we serve will be better prepared to graduate from high school, go on to college, and thrive as adults.
